as it is the value of the dollar going down.

Forget the reasons that the media provides. Without alternatives, the oil companies have you over a barrel and they know it. They're not stupid. That's why as fuel efficiency of cars has increased, so has the price that you pay at the pump.
Wait until this Obama Health Care crap kicks in, EVERYTHING is going to go up, people will be laid off. Businesses are going to pay the fine instead of insuring their employees, it cost less....so, because these businesses are going to be paying a very large tax, they are going to mark all of their items up, to offset the tax cost...by the way I did not vote for Obama, for those of you that did, do not complain about how everything cost so much.
The World is awash with gas because of the American willingness to wreck the environment. 90% of the cost are taxes and greed.
i have to laugh at politicians that say we need to drill more in alaska . not one drop of alaskan oil comes down to the lower 48 , it ALL goes to japan and china .
supply and demand do not control the price anymore , it is the whim of wall street speculators that makes the price go up and down .

It's because oil is getting rarer.
Is it because these oil people are greedy or is it the excuses they make that are not true to begin with. Cause I think the economy has nothing to do with it nowadays
