Did it hurt.
Edit, OK mate, on your eye you say, still sounds painful, hope your OK now but the reason they sting is because its a defence mechanism, but are you sure you weren't stung by a wasp, as Bee's very seldom sting for no reason, well not usually not in the UK they don't.
Bee's don't usually bother with people and go about their business quite happily. Most of the time they sting is because they feel threatened.
Wasps are the ones that seem to sting for no reason.
A bee will sting if it feels threatened or the hive is threatened.
Since a bee will not survive the process & will die as a result.
Doubt it's something they do deliberately or without good reason.
Stung three times in the same place?
You're unlucky, guess.
I've never been stung but what I do know is that they only sting if they feel in danger. If you hurt a bee then the bugger will bite you back. Just think they die after they sting unlike a wasp so you kinda get your own back! :)
it is more likely that you were stung by wasps? a bee doesn't want to sting you because for him it is suicide. Bees, wasps and hornets are attracted by colour and scent so if you wear bright blue and use aftershave or deodorant that is an invitation for them to come and see you. Gardeners usually wear dull colours, green, brown, grey and hardly ever get stung. Me - once in the last 8 years, a wasp was under something that I moved.
Because they feel threatened. They wouldn't do it randomly like wasps because once they sting someone their insides come out with the sting or something so they die :/ It's a bit stupid really because they're gonna die either way but i guess they just panic and instead of weeing themselves they sting haha...
Bees, like almost all creatures have the ability to damage an enemy.
Because they have a very bad attitude problem and a bloody nasty temper.
They feel threatened. Please don't threaten a bee, we need them to create honey.
why do bee's bite/sting people? I mean what do they get from it! I have in the past been stung by bees 3 times and all in the same place!
