Every era has had certain people who thought a prominent person must be the antichrist because they said things or did things that were in opposition to what those people wanted. That doesn't make anyone the antichrist but people continue to think that way.
You have to consider all the people who disagree with your positions. They might conclude that the antichrist is a powerful person who agrees with you.
