The actress who did the voice of Bart's teacher, Ms. Krabappel, passed away recently, and the creators of the show have already stated they will retire the character, rather than find another person to do her voice.
So my guess is Ms. Krabappel will be the character they kill off.
No, it definitely will not be Marge or Homer. That would effectively be the end of the show.

They said one of the main character is going to die! so who do you think will it be and who do you not want it to be? I personally would say its going to be Marge as without her simpsons will still be the same but wheras if you kill homer then it will lose lots of audience?
