My thoughts are I hope it hurries up and gets here so the nut jobs can get on another doomsday scenario --- this one is getting old and has been beat to death.

This 122112 alignment involves masses of incalculable size and unknown force. Solar activity has increased of late.
No one knows for sure what, if anything, will happen other than the cycle repeats beginning 12-21-12.
Simply considering the gravity transfer leads me to think there will be some unusual consequences.
We'll find out soon enough. I, for one, wouldn't mind seeing a large CME striking earth , knocking out the majority of electrical circuits and electronic transmission capabilities for year or two.
Those that survive will have the best human traits, or the worst, but it'll cull out the weakest segments. In 1918, 40, 000, 000 perished from influenza and only that few because of an unusually early cold snap. Coulda been 3X that number, or more.
Mother Nature will heal the earth, we are insignificant, except in a spiritual sense.

Same thing as every other day, dawn will break, the sun will come up and continue to rise throughout the morning. In the afternoon the sun will start a decent util it is fully set whereupon it will be dark. Expect continued dark throughout the remainder of the day.
I suspect it will be a self fulfilling prophecy of some kind. Perhaps the power grids will be shut down for a few days on purpose.
December 21 st will be the same has any other day, you'll wake up go about our daily business go home go bed and wake again on the 22nd. to do the same all over again.
