Its far from justified in fact it was terrorism on the part of the US/UK/other sheep, the Taliban as oppressive as they were had control of the area, and will again soon, the worst thing about it is the US claimed they wanted to stop the creation of a terrorist organization that was weak at best, but they have managed to create a larger network of terrorists that will keep expanding the longer they stay there, the whole situation is embarrassing for them, worse than Vietnam and they still don't have the balls to admit defeat.
Bush and his croneys started the war because they were unhappy with the leadership in Afghanistan, they wanted to control the oil in the area and build a pipeline, the Taliban leadership weren't giving in to their demands, they used the 9/11 attacks as an excuse to invade the country under the false premise that they were training terrorists.

Absolutely watch idiots answer tho we went to afganistan in a war with a government that supports terrorist organization al quada or however u spell it... They commited war crimes and harbored international criminals the iraq war was not justified That one was about faulty evidence of WMDs.
