Think we can even go farther back in time and debate the assassination of Julius Caesar? Why solve today's problems when we can waste time on things we cannot change.

and/or he was going to match wits with the Soviets with regard to the

UFO flap that was occuring in both countries.

In either case, the CIA did not want to share anything, at all.

In this case, *justified* = A detemination that will forever remain conjecture, at best.

Not only was it not justified, it could be argued that it was the single most traumatic non-Civil War event in American history that did the most harm to the country.
