All anyone needs to do is look at a persons eyes when they are being interviewed. Rolf Harris often looked down when being asked certain pointed questions - not in a shifty way, but something was asked of him which he really did not want to answer. It was often quite to very noticeable.

There was plenty of evidence to convict harris, he even wrote letters to girls he had abused! he had a dark side,like so many abusers,he has to have a nice side as well, because otherwise he could not draw his prey to him could he? and as for compensation, i am sure that is not uppermost in the girls minds, it is not even clear if harris has money to pay compensation,i know that if i was abused i would throw the money back in their faces. The police asked very searching questions before any of the girls gave evidence, would you like all your private stuff laid open in court, telling strangers how harris groped your breast and forced his tongue in your mouth? what's that worth then?
He's banged to rights now. It is depressing all round. His victims have suffered and those who warmed to him also feel betrayed. I met him a couple of times in my work as a musician and he seemed pleasant enough but like some others I have also worked with they are very good at portraying a persona for public consumption but when you work with them you get to know them in a different way.

I didnt actually like him. Not on the TV anyway. I suppose all entertainers put on a bit of an act,we dont know about anyone.

Absolutely nobody is all nice. We all have a dark side. The value of these trials where people relate sexual
events that may or may not have taken place decades ago, are very dubious. The passage of time distorts memory, encourages exaggeration and possibly creates invention. Certainly there can be no physical evidence of his alleged activities.
He should now be jailed for life, but what's the bet he gets less than 3 years......SICKENING.
