You simply cannot go around raising money for a cause, any cause, without being an accredited charity. So the thing for you to do is contact the American Cancer Society and volunteer. They will provide you with information and material as well as a place to send any money you do raise. doing it on your own can cause problems so get some help from those with the knowledge and legal right to solicit for money.

The problem with treating cancer is that the big drug companies, don't want anything natural, even if it's shown to help, because they can make any money from it.. A doctor can lose their license to practice should they prescribe something natural., even if it works. Unfortunately, capitalism has no conscience. How about if the FDA tells the food processors to stop using so many cancer causing chemicals ?

Check out some of their websites they always have events on that you should be able to join in with.

If you just want to do something simple on your own then you can take the money to your local shop.

We have got a National Health Service that whas brought in so we dont have to resort to begging or charities -Canvas your local Member of Parliament who is well paid to put your concerns to our government -maybe get a petition up to him or her with your concerns !

So recently, I decided I wanted to help people, help people's lives. Both my Grandma and my Auntie have both been taken by Cancer unfortunately:( I want to make them proud, and raise money for Cancer Research! ..I'm just not sure where to start!

Any ideas of how I could raise money, and what I would have to do to submit the money, ect..

Please bear in mind I am quite young and wouldnt be able to do anything like hold an event to raise money.
