Sibel Edmonds worked as a Turkish translator and language specialist for the FBI from 1996 to 2002. She testified before the 9/11 commission about her career in the FBI. In April of 2001, she and others received word from an Iranian intelligence officer that Bin Laden's followers planned to strike major U.S. cities with hijacked commercial airliners. She claimed to alert the higher authorities, but they refused to listen.
