I hope she gets the needle, and burns in hell.
Nothing would surprise me. The state carries the burden of proof beyond a reasonable doubt which is a high standard to achieve. As the days have gone on, the prosecutor's seemingly compelling evidence has become somewhat weakened by, among other things, Martinez spending too much time and attention on peripheral details and semantics. Additionally, the defense have presented a plausible explanation suggesting that Arias was a domestic abuse victim who was forced to fight for her life. The defense's position would be more credible with a more credible defendant rather than "facts" provided by a self-admitted liar. If one assumes the foundation is truthful, the story, particularly buttressed by expert testimony can raise doubt. I do not think Jodi will get either life or the death penalty because Martinez spend too much time wading in the weeds and also because the defense has created too much ambiguity which creates doubt. As I said, nothing would surprise me but I expect a conviction of manslaughter--ten year sentence, reduced to eight, served five, out in three. And that's a real crime.
I think the Jodi Arias Verdict will be Guilty. Whether the Jury decides for first degree murder or 2nd degree is a toss up. http://jodiariasverdict.blogspot.com/201...
"when the verdict is read do you guys think that jodi arias will be charged with manslaughter or 2nd murder "
It's clear that you have a fundamental misunderstanding of the legal system of the US. Arias has already been charged.
Personally, I know it's not an option, but Jodie obviously has some crazy issues and should be sentenced to life in a mental ward. I think she would be fine in jail, but atleast in a mental ward they are equipped for crazies like her and know her tricks. Reguardless of self defense nobody uses three methods to kill someone who isn't crazy. Knife wounds, gun shot, slit throat. She might even have split personalities.
when the verdict is read do you guys think that jodi arias will be charged with manslaughter or 2nd murder when the verdict is given i just i hope it dosent be a mistrail or a hung jury???
