My thoughts now are the same as they were when she was murdered: this was a professional job. Maybe a Mr (or Ms?) Big had been somehow rattled by something on the Crimewatch programme and decided to have something done about it. That is speculation for sure but it has all the hallmarks of a pro job not least because no-one was found for it -someone was scapegoated for it to save Mr Plod's face (cf Yewtree).
I doubt it because the authorities will never believe it wasn't Barry George - why else refuse him compensation for being wrongly convicted? Its criminal the way they've behaved towards him, not to mention Dando surely deserved a proper investigation to find the truth.
I agree with Paul. I think that Jill Dando was about tho spill the beans on something so she was silenced. You do not upset influential people or rock the Establishments boat!
