I don't believe it is imminent.
The worst case scenario would be Iran nukes Israel. I would like to think that while Israel would like to retaliate in kind, that cooler minds would prevail. Any country that uses nukes will end up doing much more damage to itself in the form of diplomacy, not to mention potential lawsuits from uninvolved neighboring countries who end up having radioactive clouds blow over their land.
And what would nuking Iran accomplish anyways? Mass murdering 1000s of civilians won't solve anything. Computer guided conventional weaponry is much more efficient and does not have the nuclear side effects. So if Israel wants to blow up a factory, they can blow up the factory...without killing everyone in the surrounding city.

Chris is right, imminent not eminent! not in the near future! NATO allies will, for sure never use nukes!! north korea has the highest possibility of using nuclear warheads. but if they do so, they will be thrown back to the stone age!! no country has the guts to do so!!
Nuclear war is probably not. But a plague of poor spelling is.
It will be a while before it happens, but the threat of one will go off the charts if the Muslims get one.
