Being 17-19 sucks, really.
Your 20s are better, as you're still very young and can do all the things you enjoy at those ages - clubbing, holidays/travelling (I wouldn't classify 'working' as one - unless you have an enjoyable job), but you're more mature and can handle the responsibilities much better, it's the people who make the mistake of getting burdened with a mortgage/marriage/kids way too young that moan and fantasize about being a teen again, from what I've seen, and they turn into huge bores.
As for school, when you leave school you'll develop these things called "nostalgic goggles" that will make you forget about all the bad things about school, but mentally exaggerate how good the good times were. I miss the simplicity sometimes, though you'll probably never make as many strong friendships in life again after leaving school.
don't wish you're life away, you'll wish you hadn't 'cos it goes faster than you think it will
I guarantee you that in a few years you'll want to take these words back. Try to think of the good things about school like spending time with your friends or making fun of teachers or whatever makes you smile. As you grow older your feelings might or might not change but if you leave school I'm sure you'll curse yourself for doing that. Give yourself some time and see if things get better :)
Bluntly, from the way you spell, you need to stay in school. An education is really important.
I wish i was 17-18 again. Trust me I would not make the same mistakes!!
Young people want to be older and old people want to be younger.
so you expect to walk into a job just like that. just say you do, you will work for nearly 40 hours a week . from this you have to pay your way, so rent plus bills and of course food has to be paid to you mum and dad, its only fair after all. now with the few pounds you have left, you buy some clothes you will be lucky to be able to afford the night time lifestyle you so crave. now that is IF you get a job if you don't so starts the hard slog of trying to keep the job centre off your back, apply for jobs and dealing with the rejection letters. not so fun in the long run I can tell you. you won't believe me I know but someday you will look back to the time when you crave for those school days you so want to leave behind you.
life is tough - it really is - I guess it is meant to be - of course there are good times too especially at your age
i just cant wait to leave school, i know parents say i wish i could go back but now adays its filled with snakes and b*tches its just so frustrating and theres exams they expect to much of us...anyway i cant wait till im 17-18 just to be in young adult hood im only 14 nearly 15, i cant wait to start working and go out clubbing and just living life, is it true thats when your life really starts, when it really gets better?
