4. She has now created a sight to solicit donations, with a goal of $10,000.
5. She "tried to join the military" in April but didn't follow through, she only talked to a recruiter and "started filling out paperwork to take the ASVAB" The asvab is administered at least twice every working day at every MEPS. If she wanted to take it she could.

I just got off the phone with Deputy Atwood of the Lake County Sheriff's Dept. He knows nothing about this case. Now, she may have contacted law enforcement in Alabama where she lives, but who knows? He also suggested I report the story to FaceBook to check it out.
I was browsing too and wondering the same thing, and yes, that's how i came across this page....something doesn't add up....court files and case numbers are public record up here and i'm not familiar with US family law but i've done enough work in immigration matters and contacted enough courts over criminal to know that the basic process is the same....very curious....
I was curious about this as well?! I went to her page where there is a posted mugshot of her for aggrivated assault with a deadly weapon, grand theft and armed robbery.. I'm curious if this is true or if there is more to it. I don't see how they could file as abandonment unless she did leave her with them.. So much can get misconstrued from her story to their's to the truth. Makes you wonder how much if these "please share" stories are real or just a fame game
I was browsing Facebook, and found a picture of a mother and her baby, asking for help to get her baby back. I know its lengthy, but after reading it, it sounds a bit sketchy - is it actually possible for something like this to happen?
In a nutshell, this woman was trying to enter the military, and signed temporary guardianship of her baby to her parents so they could watch her while she was away; right after she signed guardianship, her parents dropped off the radar, and she wasn't able to contact them for three weeks. When she went to revoke guardianship, she'd found her baby had been filed under abandonment, and that her parents were trying to adopt her. No one seems to be helping her, and she doesn't seem to be able to afford a lawyer to help her.
I always thought, that as long as the baby hasn't been legally adopted (and, in some cases, even after, especially since the mother didn't give her consent), either one of the biological parents can reclaim the baby. My heart goes out to this woman if this is legitimate, but it sounds like bit of a discreet way of asking for money: is it actually possible for something like this to happen? (No, I am not an advocate of this lady, and I'm not trying to spread her story for the sake of helping, nor am I trying to be a spammer; I am rather skeptical of her story. Sorry to be a pessimist, but there's a lot of scams circulating, and I'm concerned that this might be one of them.)

I gave my parents guardianship of my daughter to be able to go into the army, so i could better myself, and as soon as i signed the paperwork three weeks went by and they ignored me every way possible blocked me on face book, ignored emails calls and texts. So i went to court house to get guardianship rights revoked so i could just have her back because i hadn't seen her in three weeks and even missed her 1st birthday. But when i got there the clerk told me it was no longer a guardianship case that it was an adoption case, and i told her how could this happen i was never informed and i am the mother, that's when she proceeded to tell me that they filed it under abandonment because they said they could not find me. I have tried finding a lawyer that will help and most tell me that i have to have 5000 up front for them to even go into the court room for me to file an appeal. and i don't have that kind of money. I just want to get my name out there so i can find someone to help me. I don't see how what they did is legal and for them to be my own parents thats what hurts worst. I was not doing drugs, or drinking or getting in trouble when i had my daughter i made sure she never went without which as a single mom is hard~~ but i loved her and made sure i did everything that was possible~~. And that is why im writing now i want to do everything possible to try and get her back this is unfair how the courts can work like that. I cant even get a case number on the file that they filed it under and i am her mother. Please i am at my last resort i need help before i lose her forever. If there is anything you can do i would be grateful i feel i have ran out of options...
I just dont understand how a mother could have so much hate for her daughter to take her chilld away, i was not a bad parent this all happened after the whole casey anthony case my mom would even make sly comments about it and how she didnt want her daughter being the next casey anthony. which i dont see how she would think that i wasnt doing drugs or out partying my daughter always came first please i need help. I have tried emailing just about everyone i can even the news station and its like no body cares. im at a whits end i dont know what else to do anymore AND IM RUNNING OUT OF TIME!!!"
