There was probably never a time where it was 3 against 1. He probably never had more than 1 of them unchained/unhandcuffed at once. The news already said they were kept in different rooms. When the one girl was pregnant, he kept her chained up and unchained one of the other ones to help deliver the baby. The one who was unchained to deliver the baby probably did not have the keys to unlock the other one so there wasn't much she could do.

there were chains found in the basement so they probably were chained. might have been drugged too. they were all malnourished when they were found so they wouldn't have had the same level of strength as you and me. plus the fact that they had been locked up so long means their muscles wouldn't be as storng as other people's because they can't move around like us. also they had been kidnapped when they were young and beaten so many times it would probably have reduced their confidence in their own abilities to defend themselves. plus his brothers were in on the act too so it could have been three against three.

I don't know the full story, but if there were 3 women aggainst 1 man, wouldn't it be easy to take him down, its three against one which means three brains against one brain??? Were they in chains in something? If it were me and two other girls, we could've probably taken him down in like 20 minutes.
