I thought it was from jumping off cliffs or badly timed bombs.
Lemmings still exist, although the stuff about them being suicidal critters that love jumping off cliffs to their deaths was created by an old Disney documentary. Supposedly they got the classic shots by intentionally scaring and herding the critters near a cliff, and then had people standing off-camera flinging the terrified rodents over the cliff.
I mean honestly, how would a species survive if all of its instincts were to commit suicide?
Neither, they still live happily on the planet earth. The myths of them jumping off cliffs etc. are just that MYTHS!
*something, and they killed themselves :)
I read sumfing on the bbc that said the ice age killed them but i thought it was a lack of love. Who is right?
