I'm happy to see that producers of The Big Bang Theory feel confident enough to have the show evolve. Life is about change & it's nice to see the show reflect that reality. No, the show isn't the same as it was in Season 1; Howard is married (& an astronaut), Leonard & Penny are engaged, & even more surprisingly Sheldon seems to have feelings for Amy. As long as the show is funny I'll keep on watching.

Kinda. But it does make the show more interesting, instead of keeping it the same and possibly making it boring. It makes you want to watch season 8.
Depressing? Lol, I don't think it was DEPRESSING. I felt really bad for Sheldon, but I don't think it was depressing, and he'll be back home next season.
