I used to like it a lot. But then they got irritating characters and the same gags replayed over and over again. For example- Sheldon says something stupid, and someone, usually Penny, makes the mistake of asking 'Why' which elicits a groan from everyone else and a stupid explanation follows.
Plus, I find some of the characters really mean. And Raj is annoying.
i wouldnt call TBBT a soap opera ... its a comedy!

I mean the soap opera called 'the Big Bang Theory'. Of course you can also share some points of view on the theory per se which I am a big fan of.
