Ignoring a few cases of (almost) dead being reversed in a matter of minutes or an hour, none returned from the dead till date, to live again to die some other day. It is true of all cultures.
Never say never also die some time. Death is final.
Dead is dead, as others have said medically they can revive people to a fair point, but as science advances we can save more and more people.
My thinking is it will be something like waking from sleep, you have no knowledge of ANYTHING, to you the dead part = ZERO.
some people make up crap to act cool we cross the street from those kinda people thinking you total nutter freak.
So my best guess is one day we can revive brain dead, but you wont experience anything. When you recover and are revived - lets face it, if your brain dead you are not going to wake up thinking that was cool - you will probably be in Intensive care thinking where the hell am i and how long i been in here.

I mean we have brought people back who are clinically dead, but not from brain death. And I doubt we ever will be able to, definitely not in the next few lifetimes.
I can answer your question for you though. It doesn't feel like anything. What did you feel like before you were born? You didn't.
By the very nature of being dead one cant know what it feels like. Very similar to a very deep dreamless sleep.I would have thought.
NO.. When ones heart stops and the blood stops nourishing the tissues,then rigor mortise and brain death sets in and we slowly begin to decompose.

You could or doctors could keep the brain alive by future medical advances until they have healed the sick body and then bring you back to life
But We see this has horrific and Frankenstein is seen has horror, but one day the Brain will be kept alive or transplanted into a new body.
It is no secret what death is like and when you are asleep unless you dream the night passes and you are aware of nothing and this is what death is like and you are aware of nothing.
We are not machines, so we can't switch on and off. If its quickly after death, doctors and first aiders have some chance of resuscitating you. But honestly, we are all biolgical matter, we will degrade after death.
Also, why would anyone sane want to kill themselves temporarily?
NO and brain dead means you will never know anything.I am sorry no one really knows death but a few and even they can't tell you anything.
Once you are really dead, you are really dead. Whan your brain dies, you are dead.
Of course, you could have your DNA extracted and have a creature made like you, but it wouldn't be YOU.
