You have to tailor your humour to the show you are on , its Comic Relief, not late night stand up, its obvious to anyone that Frankie's routine was not going to go out.
It's the media - they love nothing more than whipping up outrage.
Having just seen the comic relief set he did the other day (it's on youtube), it's clearly a storm in a teacup. The jokes weren't very offensive, I've heard worse and they were funny. I didn't hear the reported booing either, just laughter. ("I can't believe Kate Middleton's pregnant, she told me she was on the pill", "Oscar Pistorius - Pistorious sound like a spell Harry Potter would use to make your legs fall off").
I love him, hes not everyones cup of tea, but they dont need to watch him. Alas we dont all have a sense of humour. He is missed on Mock the Week show.
Well, he is very caustic with his jokes so bound to attract a lot of attention..both bad and good.
Don't they have sense of humour?
