I see overweight children whose own parents are usually overweight, too. It seems to be a life style choice.
So where do the free food banks fit into the equation?
I don't know any youngsters happy at being overweight, I think murderers get more sympathy and understanding that any one of any age who is fat.
The teasing, bullying, and freedom to dump on the overweight is so prevalent and has gone on for so long that I can remember fifty years ago standing up for the larger sized girls in my school against the bullies.
And no, I'm not now nor have I ever been overweight. something else the haters love to say when I defend fat people. I just don't see the point to it. They know they are fat, they are often miserable about it.
People can't live for what they may or may not be tomorrow, we all have to live in today, and if that today involved being overweight then hating yourself is not a good way to live.

When it become difficult for people to lose weight then they want to make it a fashion to be overweight so that they can feel less guilt.
Generally they are lazy buggers. They sit In front if their computers, or the tv never getting any exercise. they don't do PE at school and their eating habits are just junk food? I blame McDonald!
obviously i'm thinking of gastric bands at nhs expense - is it the 'personalities' on tv series like 'little britain' that have set such a trend or bodyshop succeeding in promoting satisfaction with your image or what?
