President Obama
Obama. Romney might have seemed strong but in the way a bully or a brow-beater seems strong. He kept on interrupting the moderator and in my opinion, he seemed belligerent to both Obama and Jim Lehrer, never letting Jim Lehrer talk. And Romney's secrecy over practically all his programs on taxes and medicare doesn't particularly give me the reassurance that Romney is the right candidate. How can we trust a candidate when we don't know how his programs will affect us? When asked about their tax cut program, Romney's running mate, Paul Ryan stated that he didn't have time to go over the math with us, saying later that he didn't want people changing the channel on their TV. I don't know about everybody else, but i think that everyone that cares enough about their country's future and their own future would have stayed on that channel to hear about their "superior" tax program. At the very least, we would have known once and for all, through other media sites, what their program is. As Obama stated, the reason that there is so much cloak and dagger in the Romney administration over their programs is because the american people wont like what they have to offer. Why else keep it a secret, other than the fact that it will do no good for their campaign towards presidency.
Romney is the clear winner tonight, unfortunately there are still too many people out there who still want the 'obama phone', tax payers paying for their babies... entitled mentality. We won't even mention the misplaced racial pride even at the cost of the country. Romney's strategy is right on... I'm a small business owner and right now I am holding off hiring unless i can hire at least a certain number of people.. to few and I LOSE MONEY. Support small business.
As a rule I don't have much trust of politicians as most of you feel i'm sure and it's always about going with the lesser of two evils.. this election is pivotal. Four more years of Obama will be our nations downfall. Like Obama said.. it's mathematics.. and 8 years of this is twice as bad as 4.
Mitt Romney hands down won tonight's debate. I felt like it was New Year's Eve 1976 and I was watching Apollo Creed get his ribs broken! I started chanting, "Rocky! Rocky! uhh I mean Romney! Romney!" Even the POTUS most ardent supporters like Michael Moore and numerous movie stars are admitting defeat!
Romney
This must be the worst day of President Obama's career. He must realize that it's game over. Romney hammered Obama and his record which is pathetic. Time for a leader with experience and honesty. Can't wait to see Biden get hammered. This was just the warm up act. Can anybody imagine Joe Biden as our president?
Well, Most might say Romney. But he was just a little too Tea Partyish lying and coniving about how he stands for working people and how evil "Big Government" is in people's lives. But as anybody with any sense would see, he, just as the "Tea Party" is all about, is twisting facts, little substance, sound bites and as much as they/he may deny are really all about is huge Military spending, huge Big Government cuts to the poor and in the end are are all about Big Buisness. Romney didn't have any true facts or plans to a very complex economic situation.
Anyone who spouts off that Romney lied is clearly a left liberal. And anyone who claimed Obama lied is a right repub.
Truth is, they each have their own perspective and each can point to facts, stats, assumptions, etc that will support their statements. It's called spin, and all politicians are masters at it.
So who won? Romney ... very very clearly.
Romney by far. Romney made Obama look foolish- pointed out exactly why HE should be president, and why Obama has been a failure the last 4 years
Romney clearly outperformed the President. He was sharp, assertive and engaging. Obama seemed a bit listless, even tired. Near the end of the debate he appeared anxious for the evening to end.
In your opinion, who won, and why?
Romney clearly won. Regardless with which candidate you agree more (politically speaking), Romney was more poised and more clearly responded to the questions.
Mitt Romney. He was strong, a clear leader, a clear plan for the US. obama was weak, defensive, lied and kept lying when confronted by Mitt Romney. barack seemed childish. Never should have been elected.
Romney crushed Obama. I am very disappointed in Prez Obama. Looked uninformed. Not the president I voted for.
Romney by far. Obama seemed stunned that someone could actually question him. I was undecided but now I will never be able to get Obama's beaten look out of my mind. Romney is the only real choice
Mitt Romney, he owned obama, presented facts and told the truth. Walked all over that deplorable liar we call a president.
Romney 2012
President Romney won, hands down. Hope and change is coming my friends!
Romney. Presented clear ideas to create jobs. Obama wants to continue what he's done the last four years.
Romney,
He was clearly more prepared. The President seemed lost and irritated but in an arrogant way. He was looking at Romney like he just tracked dog **** into his house... No contest I vote for the guy who wants to let Americans figure it out for themselves.
Obama won. He stayed connected to the needs of those who are not helped by those who survive on profit.
Romney won hands down. He was better informed and more specific
Obama. He came off Presidential. Calm and cool. Mitt seemed frantic and a little desperate. Not to mention he was being pretty untruthful -- I mean it's not like his previous statements aren't all on tape, haha -- We know what he believes in and now he tries to change it at the debate!
Obama
Obama
Romney crushed it in terms of poise, confidence, speaking ability, and facts. He was persuasive and completely owned the debate.
Romney. I voted for Obama, but not again. He's had 4 years to do something and he gave us Obama-care! REALLY?
Obama. Romney's mantra: "Distort, Deceive, Inveigle, Obfuscate!"
ROMNEY - he has a plan. 0bama has 4 Ineffectual years: nothing to stand on!
Obama for sure. He appeared reflective and caring. His personal story about his grandma was captivating.
