There are others who, because of their faith in God (whomever that happens to be in their religion) believe that the soul lives on after the body dies. It never hurts to believe in this sort of thing but if God is real, and I believe Him to be, it would be sad if one chose not to believe and God actually was real. ...... Believing in a religion helps people have hope for their future, even after death.
Who really knows ? Ones faith or personal beliefs aren't solid proof. No one has every literally died & come back to tell what really happened. Unless, you believe the accounts of those that have said to have experienced life after death.
There are many different theories about what happens after death, including going to heaven, going to hell, becoming a ghost, reincarnation, etc...
As far as I know, no theories have been proven today.
scientifically speaking , your body will shut-down and you won't exist anymore
there is no heaven or hell , that would be like believing that fairytales are real , those things are human-made stories with no actual prove

Your body dies.. you your spirit soul will still be very much alive.. not sure what exactly happens but we dont just disappear if thats what you think :)
Hopefully, my body will be buried and then my possessions will be sold with the money going to various charities.
