If a nation wants to murder our president and vice president---they can. And, when they do, there will be NO human being left alive in that nation. Even old men would take up arms against that nation. Muslim terrorists are playing with fire. When people play with fire---they WILL get burned.
We'll never know but I suspect very much what happened as a result of the near success. Our government is built with cocontingenciesn place to keep it running smoothly even if the President and V.P. are killed, we would have gathered our forces, our intelligence and retaliated. American would back any war at that point we always do when we are mad, then later we start griping about them. It may have taken a bit longer to figure out under a new president suddenly thrust into a situation like that but we would have handled it.
I dread to think the rage of the Americans l, it could have possibly started ww3. I mean, The Americans would be so angry that they would bomb every single suspected place that the Taliban could be hiding, in the world, regardless of the consequences with other countries. America are the only Superpower now in the world, and they , if they wanted to , could steamroll over every other country on the planet.
