What if I pretended to be someone and get caught?

I wouldn't attend anymore classes/meetings, etc. if I were you. By pretending to be another person and especially, signing his name, is an act of fraud. Laws and punishments for fraud vary by state and circumstances. Regardless, continuing this charade will only increase your chances of getting yourself into some legal hot water.

You've perpetrated a FRAUD and are subject to repercussions of that fraud. As a teacher I can tell you that if you took a test "for" or "as" someone else you're guilty of cheating and 1) the paper would be torn-up; you and the person you were impersonating would FAIL the class; and in likelihood, you'd receive a 7 day suspension... or you'd be expelled.

If you are pretending to be someone else then it wasn't you that caught was it? It was somebody else.

so be thankful for all that you have LEARNED.

So someone asked me to attend a meeting for him. I signed in under his name. They did not check any i.ds. What happens if they find out that I am not that actual person? I'm just really scared. It's just a training though that afterwards, there's a certificate for completing the course. I'm just scared. Any advice on what to do when I get caught? LOL
