In this care I think Eric Garner was killed by an over zealous cop. I normally support cops ...but not this time.
This man was selling cigarettes to earn some Christmas money. No big deal.
The cop should be fired.
He was stopped because the police wanted to search him, they suspected he was selling bootleg-cigarettes, Eric Garner wanted to talk first, had his hands up, and didn't have an aggressive posture, the officers lost patience, and attacked, 1 officer used a choke-hold, and while they worked him to the ground, he said: 'I can't breathe' multiple times.
After that he died because of the injuries sustained from the choke-hold.
He was illegally selling single cigarettes, he was told to leave, he didn't want to. He was told he was breaking the law, he argued again, he was told to surrender, he refused. The cops did not have to see his medical records before the arrest.
He did the crime, when he couldn't do the time.
Oh, and he's black, you can rape, beat, and burn babies if you are black and your mom will still say you are an innocent child.

I am an Englishman and only know what I read in the media. I am enclosing a link to a BBC report on the story. I think a lot of the time these black people are such huge people,not their fault,its just that if they get involved with much smaller white policemen,the policemen seem to panic as we saw with the Michael Brown case.
