Having never read the books, I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it. The cinematics and sound design helped nail those emotional moments and the action too. Although I have to say, the constant shakey camera and occasional lens blur were a little over used in some parts and somewhat distracting, but it was nonetheless and excellent piece of cinematography.
I had no idea about the whole phenomenon and am grateful that I went in not knowing anything. Now, I am intriqued and want to read the books! Very well done movie, very different and completely different story line than ever done before. I like originality.
Great. It was a little rushed and at some points did not follow the book but overall good. 8/10
I thought it was very interesting, I enjoyed it a lot. The book was much more detailed I will edmit, but if I were to play it in my head that's how I would have imagined it(:
