yes, at his time of death, he already had resigned from government after saying there were 'no WMDs in Iraq', he was largely ignored by the press at the time who wanted to sell papers by reporting on the war.
Since he was obviously a moral person, don't you think he might have said 'oh and by the way, soon after we came to power, Diana was bumped off'.
He already had heart disease I believe, and was receiving treatment, so poisoning his heart might have been a bad move.
Another conspiracy theory ? I remember him well. He was a peppery little man. Amazing how they are trying to link his quite natural death with Diana's tragic accident. I dont believe Robin was murdered.

A newspaper has said that the investigation into the so called assassination of Diana is been held back due to the death of a key witness, or Robin Cook who was home Secretary at the time of her death.
so what did he know about her death and the SAS involvement and we will never know.
when Robin Cool died it was a total shock because they say he had a illness and we had never heard about it.
He also was 30 minutes away from help when he had hie heart attack and died.
A website say's that his wife knows who put the digitalis into his food which brings about a heart attack in sufficient quantities and it builds up in your system and when there is enough in your system one more dose kills you, and so you can know exactly when and where to kill the person and the remote highlands of Scotland would be the perfect place.
We need a investigation into robin Cook's death because we knew at the time it was not right.
