Is this true about March of Dimes?

No. It's called that because they used to march down the street in parades and encourage people to toss dimes into a blanket they carried. A dime was worth a lot more back then. You could get a Hershey bar for a nickel, and they were bigger than they are now.

No.

"I read somewhere that it is called March of Dimes because only ONE DIME goes toward the babies, while the other 90 cents goes to the CEO"

That's not true. No matter how often you repeat the lie, it doesn't become a truth. Conservatives still haven't figure that out.

it's called the match of dimes for president roosevelt, also a polio victim. whose head is pictured on the dime.

Don't believe everything you read: http://www.snopes.com/politics/business/...

I read somewhere that it is called March of Dimes because only ONE DIME goes toward the babies, while the other 90 cents goes to the CEO, hence why they drive fancy cars and live a wealthy life.

Is this true? Some places take only 1 penny for every dollar donated. Others allow the full dollar to go straight toward whoever/whatever it is they are helping. March of Dimes supposedly takes 90 cents of every dollar.
