Obama won handily. In fact it would be easier to count Mr. Mittens valid points. For instance, guided by the fact checking of Andrea Mitchell, it is true as Obama said offshore permits was up 10% from 2008. However, the graph told a different story. Permits rose rapidly until 2010 where they turned downward just as drastically. Even if 10% is "correct" it leaves out account the trending. I am not sure it is legit to site that 10% when the graph has not even leveled off. So Mr. Mittens 14% is valid too.
But left out of this account entirelyis the Gulf of Mexico oil spill. Mr. Mittens should know and we all should remember permits were suspended after the spill but significant new areas ( such as off Virginia) have since been opened up. Whether a Mittens at the helm could have sustained and increased drilling in the face of disaster and whether we would then have $3 gas is one we will never know. Add the costs of the cleanup to the price of your gas. I could see marginalizing the envirnomental movement--but how do you marginalize a whole oil spill?
I feel like the entire condemnation of Obama's first four years is too premature to be acceptable! The Great Depression started in 1929 and four years later in 1933 was at its height, when FDR took over from Hoover. The Depression did not really leave until war production of WW11.
Where I live, in 2008 a Sonic Burger which had already broke ground was abandoned mid-way through the job. But in 2012 it is a going concern. There is other evidence of new commercial construction, some face lifts on the main road and nicer road pavement. So there is definite improvement. Romney would be a worst-ever disaster. He would take down social security like they did in Russia.
This doesnt have anything with the question, but earlier today you answered my question about my ipod touch so i just wanted to reply to that on here. The electronic is a iPod touch 4th generation 8GB, looks like it was hardly used and is in great condition working perfectly fine. I will probably be selling it on eBay for $60 or auctioning it on eBay with starting price of $50 so if your still intrested you should look out for it on eBay.
Obama he was more himself tonight some times that swagger was back. He was polite yet aggressive where Mittens was pushing it too far. He was disrespectful not only to Candy Crowley but to the people who wanted to ask questions. He didn't answer the question that he was asked & he wouldn't shut up when CC told him that his time was over & she wanted to give them a chance.
Obama got Mitt on the lies & he really got him at certain times. The one time that stood out was when Mitt accused the President of not handling the death of the 4 people who died recently. President Obama really stood up him about that.
Romney won by a lot.
Romney. He answered all questions clearly and honestly, was consistant with the facts and didn't submiss to liberal scare tactics
