Most people are totally illiterate as regards the sciences. I saw the same question. The same list also gets fools asking if the world will end on a certain date because they read some trash on Youtube which anyone with the least understanding would instantly recognize as garbage. Others ask how the Sun keeps "burning", if or when people will walk of the Sun, and many other absurdities.

I have seen 2 moons in America, mid west. First off, the moon is only a reflection, it does not really exist. If you had a rocket, you could fly through it. So, tell me, how do rumors get started with so many believers?

I think you are talking this latest time around for this HOAX. What is happening is that Mars is going to be almost as bright as the moon, not even near the same size, if it were to be the same size, then we are in big trouble! But, seriously, it's the brightness and it's happened before. No worries.

So I look at current questions and seen one that said 'When will the two moons be seen in India?" Well I almost passed it up, but was curious at how someone would think that. Then I seen some of the answers, that said, 'No it is only a hoax', but this was a common trend in the answers, as if there is a lot of people believing it.

How do these things get started and how does it swallow so many believers?
