Is there something that the government is hiding
Conspiracy theorists and other weak-minded people think that the US government helped to plan and/or carried out 9/11.
The idea is pretty stupid when you think about just how many people - including the victims who DIED - would have had to know about this plan months even years in advance.
Yet the conspiracy theorists have no evidence. All they do is point to fuzzy screen captures from 9/11 news footage. They have no memos, no confessions, not even any anecdotes about people confessing on their death bed, or leaving memoirs, or trying to call up Larry King for what would surely be the interview of the century.

people just make up stuff to make them feel like they are part of some sort of mystery that THEY have to decode.
its exactly what it is. there are some bad people and they come and do bad stuff to us. we went over there and we did some bad stuff... thats not to say that 9/11 was our only motive in going there...
People who believe in conspiracy theories are normally people with poor social skills. Anyone who believe 9/11 was caused by the government is either dumb, retarded or has the intelligence of a small furry rodent.
Not another conspiracy theorist. I am sure the US Government is hiding a lot and I am sure a few lies were told, but the Twin Towers were attacked by Islamic terrorists funded, planned and executed by Al-Queda. If the US Government and others are hiding anything then it is most probably that they were aware an attack on US soil was going to take place but failed to respond or take the threat seriously. The ease of movement of these terrorists within the US prior to the event is astonishing, however, we are all wise in hindsight.
Conspiracy hoaxers claimed that terrorists didn't commit the 9/11 attacks.
It's all a scam to cash in on book and video sales.
Just go to a website like Amazon.com and look up how many books and videos there are.
