because of course you are following with intense interest.

specifically, the republican states which refuse to expand medicare.

OK but nowhere near as good as the Canadians

If any sane, logical person looked at the American "system" and the systems in place in Canada, the UK and western Europe that would be no doubt the the American "system" is the worst in the world.

I saw on TV that some American companies are sending their employees to Costa Rica for medical treatment because it costs less and is good treatment.

The debate in the USA is often just silly. Some people are saying the most crazy things.

it is comparable to Big Tobacco fighting against legislation to put Warnings of being a known Carcinogen on their cigarettes.

Doctors and private hospitals and drug manufacturers have a lot of money (to lose) at stake here. [They are big tobacco]. They don't want to lose out on such a profitable venture.

I don't hear the message as clear and understandable for the average Joe. Those with the money run the show(meaning the Health system as it stands right now) They in the industry are happy with the status quo.

It just makes me more thankful I am a proud Canadian. "The True North Strong and Free."
