I would call the police station
in his area and tell them you
are worried.
Your dad may have a cold...
but I'm sure he will be okay.
Pray... that's what I do when
I can do nothing.

4) Yell out "WHAT YEAR IT BE MATE?!"
Call your local authorities and tell them or call the authorities in your dad's city to see if they will check on him. If it's safe try to find a way to get there and check on your dad, but only if it's safe. If he has neighbors you know about call them and ask them to check on your dad. Good luck, be safe.

I am in Nj on the coast, my city got badly affected. Luckily my power was restored a few hours ago but my dad's hasnt. Hes in another city, about 20 min away and alone. I cant drive there due to bad flooding and im worried about him. He has no hot water, working stove , and electricity. His city is entirely dark and im hearing that theres barely any food left and some looting. He tends to lie to me if theres something seriously wrong so i wont worry. Hes an engineer and has to work as emergency crew but hes sick. On the phone i hear his cold and hes already had pneumonia a few months ago. Power wont b restored for another 7 days. What should I do if I cant get to him..Hes very stubborn too.
