Seriously, I'd like to know.
More than often I see people bashing it with little actual knowledge of the show's intentions.
I feel like most people hate this show because of the praise it gets. I love the show and it shows great character development. A lot of people dislike the storylines and the direction it goes in sometimes, and if they kill a favorite character people get mad and lose interest.
I love the walking dead and it's my Favorite show on tv, i doubt "everyone" dislikes it because it's not for no reason that this show is "The king of Cable", but maybe some people don't like it just because people dont like horor or to much gore or are just not fan of zombies at all, i personally don't like zombie stuff but TWD is not just about zombies but about the bond that people create and the experiences they have to survive when the world goes to ****
I don't hate it but I don't watch it.
In general, I've always found zombies quite boring. That's just me.

I stopped watching though. I got thru half of the 3rd season and i grew tired of the constant hellish world and people not cooperating. I don't think humanity is that barbaric that they'd fight each other when there's a greater danger.
Remember Independence Day or Enemy Mine? Those were stories of people working together because of a common enemy.
I love the show, and since it's the highest rated show on Cable, I think many people do.
"to say "everyone" is an inaccurate generalization I personally have never seen it nor do I want to as I limit the "crap" that goes into my mind. The show's intentions is to mesmerize you into fear.
