No comment on the Social Security and Medicare, but the reason Romney wants to give the wealthy the tax break is because the rich already give money to charity and all this other stuff that the middle and lower class don't that much. The wealthy pays their fair share and they help pay for stuff like that, and they "give" to the government already. They have to extra money so who else would they donate it to then? Troops, charities etc. That's what they do. So taxing them more wouldn't be fair. They deserve a tax break.
