It is because blacks are far more racist. Some blacks are always looking for someone to blame their failures on, not all though. The media has helped fuel their hate and racism with the way the case has been handled. Had the shooter been black and the boy white, it would never have made media attention unless the shooter had been arrested.
Maybe all these black racists are trying to influence the case without anyone knowing the facts, i.e. Sharpton, Jackson, Obama, Spike Lee, the black KKK panthers.By the way how can a racist organization like the black panthers put a bounty hit on someone and not be arrested?
It is about stirring up racial hate and the media has done an excellent job of it. The racial white haters have jumped on the band wagon and made this an issue that it shoiuld have never been.
Your assumption is wrong. ALL Black people are not blaming ALL white people. Not true. There is a lot of anger in the community among many, understandably. But not racial anger towards individuals by people of good will.
You are young - 15. There is much you have not experienced. I am Black and old enough to be your grandmother. I grew up in segregation. I have also seen more subdued racism as I have gotten older. Actually, over the last few years, it is not so subdued - just read the hate filled comments on Yahoo. Many Black mothers and fathers' fears are realized in this one case. We want our children - our grandchildren - safe. Not profiled because they look suspicious and unable to walk down the street.
There is another thing that is irritating to me, personally. This media spin for Zimmerman trying to paint his side of the story as such a good guy and the dead child as someone who was troubled. Stories are being published about Trayvon's suspension from school for truancy and graffiti, and his being caught with "marijuana residue" in a bag.
These same folks are not talking about Zimmerman's accusations of domestic violence by his ex-fiancee and his arrest in 2005 for pushing a police officer.
What I want personally is for Zimmerman to be arrested and the facts presented in a court of law. Hopefully, the grand jury will accomplish that.
Last thing...start today stopping your generalizations. All Black people are doing this. All White people are doing that. People are individuals. Each of us. When you start thinking and seeing people as an individuals, you see the uniqueness that is each person. We truly will get to know others, when we stop assumptions and generalizations. Perhaps, then we will not have more cases like this one.
The death of Trayvon Martin is symbolic in that authorities(Sanford Police) allowed a teenager to be killed with out an arrest or consequences. This has an effect on all citizens, not just the black community.
It sends a message to all citizens that your children maybe not be safe. This is why this case is such an important national issue.

i dun know where u got ur info from... but id like to say that we dont know the whole truth... only parts of it, we do no know if martin was on the private property, if zimmerman shouted out a warning, why martin was there, why he was shot. things we do know is that zimmerman is racist from the 911 call, zimmerman chased martin and shot him dead, zimmerman was armed and martin as not armed, we know that zimmerman saw martin but we dont know whether or not martin was on the private property.
So far, all i know that he is being protected by the castle law. We will just have to wait for more evidence
