What is it with you lot - Scotland isn't just voting to "leave" England, they're voting to leave the UK - there are two other countries involved; Wales and Northern Ireland.
But long story shot no I don't think they'll vote to leave because Scots are practical people and can see through Salmond.
The rest of the UK would not "sink" without Scotland. Scotland takes more out of the UK economy than it puts in - even if it did get all of the oil, which it won't.
The Scottish are proving themselves to be very wishy-washy lately, before it(the referendum) took shape, well over 80% was for Scottish independence, now it's on-the-line, only 20% is outspokenly for leaving, the rest is undecided, or pro-UK.
Scotland doesn't actually have to worry economically though, they're the Healthier Economy compared to England, or Wales, and a lot of Scottish taxes are now being designated to England/Wales(they're paying more, than they're getting back), so they probably have more money, than expected if they actually went Independent.

If the referendum votes Yes then certainly Scotland will secede from the UK union.Scotland leaving wont harm the rest of the UK,its how will Scotland achieve on their own ?
Nothing except death, taxes and football questions in pub quizzes is certain.
I hope the Scots do vote for independence but I suspect they have more sense and know which side their bread is buttered.
I am amused at the idea that those who are arguing for independence from the rest of the UK cannot wait to sign up to be dictated to by Brussels Ho ho ho.!

there's a lot of talk that Scotland will leave, and that if it did, it would put the country in further ruin? England will sink if Scotland gets independence.
