How was Justin Biebers comment about Anne Frank Narcissistic?

because anne frank was such a dark but important part of history to only leave saying "i hope she was a beliber" is a very self centered comment. he didn't say anything about who she was or anything about the holocaust just that he hoped she was his fan. its a very narcissistic comment for anyone not just him.

I don't like him very much, but honestly what he said made sense. It humanized her. If you read the Diary of Anne Frank, she was just like any other young teenage girl (despite the obvious). She loved Hollywood and was very modern for her time period. If she were alive today as a teenager, she might like him, because although it is a piece of dark history, she was a teenage girl who was interested in these things. I think people like to take everything celebrities and politicians say and make things sound worse than what they are.

I think Justin was very respectful in making the effort to visit the historical site dedicated to Anne Frank. It was a dark period of history in WWII. Many of the elderly veterans of that war are passing away now. But there was a time when they were young and fought Nazis. Anne was a teen girl and excellent writer who wrote about the experience in an epic manner. Then she passed away young in a brutal concentration camp well ahead of her adulthood.

Bethany, another poster on this forum, is right. Justin could have easily just ignored the site and focused on himself. But on that day he showed respect to Anne Frank. I think his words were simply taken out of context on the internet, which is very common. Hence, the "internet flame wars" on the blogs, forums, tweets, article comments, etc. are in full force. But I think the real anger should be reserved for the Nazis who sent Anne Frank to the concentration camp in the first place. There is no need for online castigation of Bieber. I am saying this despite not being a fan. I am actually a fan of Selena Gomez. But Justin's comments were blown out-of-proportion.

In my childhood I remember an elderly neighbor and US Veteran who had lost his leg fighting Nazis in WWII. I remember he often walked in pain and grimaced with full display of suffering in his body language while trying to walk with crutches and one leg. I learned that the Nazis had crippled him in WWII. That war was hell. One of my relatives, a US Army soldier, was killed during the Allied Invasion of Germany while charging a Nazi gunner pit.

That kid needs a good beat down , I enjoyed looking at the pics of him and his friends play fighting in her museum, then acts like itwas real and up lifting to this fool, he has made a joke of himself in front of real celebs and musicians, he is goin down a road like that lindsay joke, and if hetruly idolized Michael the child molester jackson, then I hope he mouths of to the wrong person and gets put in his punk *** place, other than that...I can care less

He was trying to be sweet and it just ended up sounding insensitive, but I'm sure that wasn't his intention.

Every comment he makes is about himself
