How quickly will facebook collapse ?

How quickly I don't know and to be honest I don't care, but if an when it does collapse, it probably won't happen over night.

It'll happen over a couple of years when something new that out performs it comes around resulting in a gradual drop in its revenue, which can and very often does happen on the internet.

The internet for me is in many ways like a giant game of Snakes and Ladders, make one wrong move, have a bit of bad luck and everything you've worked for can if your not careful disappear down a bottomless pit.

$38 a share, huh huh huh I bet there's some very nervous people out there, I would be if I paid $38 a share for a internet site.

I can't work some people out, no doubt these are the very same people who say that Western Workers don't work hard enough, well at least they are not daft enough to pay $38 a share for a internet site.

There's some crazy people out there, and nervous ones I bet.

Lot of UNBIASED people saying, "I told you so!!!"

100 billion for a website? Give me a break.

Facebook shares will settle down at around $15 a share, which is still quite a high valuation on the company. But at that price, investors are guaranteed at least a small dividend.

The IPO price was pure fantasy and total LaLa land economics. Anyone who has paid over $15 a share needs to check out the real world which works very differently from the California digital world...

Facebook will not collapse.

But it's opening share price was way too high, considering the company's real earnings.

I expect this share price to fall even more and settle around ca. $25 each !

That is a loss of about 35%, to those who bought these shares.

Large investors stayed well clear of buying shares in this company, because they knew the price would fall. Most serious financiers even warned against buying for this very reason.

Whoever bought shares should have listened to this advice.

If Facebook can increase their advertising revenue substantially, without alieanating their customers, then there is a chance that the share price will one day rise again.

But that will be like walking a tightrope, and there is always the chance of future rival websites stealing many of their customers !

It won't it will simply fade.

The share price is irrelevant to facebook now it has the ca$h in the bank, if you mean the share price over the next few months, i'd go for october.

Until the earth collapse..

it's only a web site, it could just sell the site to a hosting company and shrink itself away, I can't see it going bust after the huge amount of capitalisation has been pumped into it.

Facebook has grown incredibly fast in the last couple of years. Analyst project that it will hit the billion mark(number of users) in the next coming years. As they say, numbers don't lie. Facebook has a great future.

Whenever the next fad takes hold. I remember like middle school it was all about my space and in high school tell now its been face book.

A classic PUMP and DUMP, maan!!

God Knows

Very slowly.

I doubt it will.
