I understand your dilemma perfectly. But it does depend on whether you think you'll enjoy the party or not. Which is more important to you - Your friend's birthday party or your favorite show? I'd probably pick the show.

Can't u just record it, go to the party and if u can't record it try to find it online

Ok I know this sounds stupid but I have this really tough decision, my friend recently told me when her birthday party is but it happens to be on the same day my favorite tv show has its season premiere. I have waited more than a year for this show and I've bought merchandise to prepare, so what should I do: go to a friends birthday party or skip it and watch something I've been waiting for forever?
