It was confirmed as a plane. There is a lot of misinformation about this, but it was a plane. 2 planes hit the Twin Towers, 1 plane hit the ground in Pennsylvania after passengers attempted to retake the plane, and 1 plane hit the Pentagon.
Probably a cruise missile.
If it had been a plane , then the impact from the wings hitting would be evident.

Was it a missile or a plane? In the videos my teacher was showing me it had pictures of the pentagon attack but you don't see a plane crashing. It also said there was no pieces of an airplane anywhere. One of the articles I read talked about a missile hitting the Pentagon.
