The standard of faith who really want to be first?
In the Bible those who follow the will of God be blessed.
The Passover is also God's will that give us the forgiveness of our sin , eternal life and protect us all disasters in the world.
I, myself, and many others when we first studied had so much of our opinions and ideas but when the bible was opened,
there was no more opinion. When the bible speaks, it becomes fact because it is Word of God.
God's thoughts obviously are greater than ours so if God teaches us something and it doesn't match our thinking, we shouldn't neglect what God says.
If ever you say to yourself, "I don't think God can do that or be like that" remember that if God has it planned out a certain way it is for a reason.
I mean, if we follow what God says, can we go wrong?
No. God is greater, let God Father and Mother do their job and we do ours, which is to follow.
We are God's flock, let's be sure to follow our shepherd knowing his thoughts and ways are greater than ours.
And just in case, at times if it gets hard, like a burden on my mind, I just think of what Christ said...
John 14:1 "Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me."
For example:
God's thought = Sabbath Saturday, My thought = Sunday Service
God's thought = Passover, My thought = Communion, Eucharist
Keeping in mind God's thought, I had to break my concept.
All I know is that God is true and doesn't fail, so I rather follow his unfailing ways than mine. (Yes, my ways fail)
Isaiah 55:8-9 "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," declares the LORD.
"As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts."
In the bible Christ Jesus say to us " I have eagerly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer "( LUKE 22:15)
and then when keep the Passover , Christ Jesus give us Bread and Wine and promise us eternal life.
So we must keep the Passover to the end of the world.
I believe that one of your friend belongs to the Church of God which places emphasis on the “the New Covenant Passover.” They say that people can receive the forgiveness of sins and salvation only through the Passover which was established by the blood of Christ. The Passover literally means that “something passes over.” In the Bible, the Passover is the day before the Israelites came out of Egypt. The blood of a lamb was put on the sides and tops of the doorframes of the houses to be saved from the tenth disaster, the death of the firstborn. This is the origin of the Passover and the Israelites have commemorated it.
After Jesus Christ proclaimed the Passover as the “new covenant” in about 30 A.D., the Passover came to have relevance to all people in the world, not just to the Israelites. On the night before Jesus was crucified, He said that the bread and wine of the Passover is “his flesh and blood,” and promised that “people will receive the forgiveness of sins when they eat bread and drink wine on the Passover.” It means that people who keep the Passover will be protected from disasters and will also receive eternal life. Biblicists say that there are records that the early Church kept the Passover faithfully for this reason.
The Passover is the feast which God commanded us to keep. In the New Testament, Jesus ordered his disciples to keep the Passover and he himself set the example of keeping it. So Peter and John kept the Passover. All the twelve disciples of Jesus kept the Passover. Apostle Paul, who is a representative figure of the New Testament, also celebrated the Passover. It is because the Passover is God’s command and regulation Jesus taught. The Passover is expressed as the new covenant. What is most important in the ceremony of the Passover is to eat bread and drink wine of the Passover, which represents Jesus’ flesh and blood. Through this ceremony, we receive God’s flesh and blood and are allowed to call God Father and Mother. Thus, the Passover contains the promise of eternal life; it is God’s seal of redemption and a sign of salvation from all disasters. The Passover means that disasters ‘pass over’ us. No one can be saved without keeping the Passover―the sign of salvation, so the Passover is God’s precious decree that the world must keep.

you have to make a choice.
do not listen to only some of your friends.
you should check about the Passover by yourself.
but, if you were a christian or believed in heaven, you'd better keep it holy.
and I'll keep it on April 5th this year.
if you wanna know more about the Passover, visit http://usa.watv.org/
some say that jesus came and abolished all of old testament feasts, but it's a lie.
in God's word, 'keep it holy forever..' then what will you do?
God's people must follow his words. and when the Lord established the Passover, he said like that.
then we just do that like what he said. simple and easy. isn't it?
but people distort his words. that's the problem.
pls read his words, the holy bible, carefully. then you can find the correct answer.
every one veiws the passover differently.
i am very religious and i view it as being very important, Jesus himself commanded that we do it every year in rememberance of him.
Some people call it the passover, lords evening meal, or the memorial.
they probly differ in dates because one might go off the modern day callender and the other of the old jewish calender (just guessing)
i celebrate it on the 5th of april after sundown.
