Should pubs replace motorway cafes?

Posted at: 2015-04-20
For years road safety campaigners have been trying to get the message across not to drink and drive. So what does some bright spark go and do - open a pub on the motorway. Well done a-holes, an invitation for selfish tossers to drink and then go cause a pile up and wipe out someones family. Some drivers will have the common sense not to, but the temptation will always be there. I personally dont think it should have been allowed to open. I just hope that those that do drink and cause an accident, will only kill themselves and no one else. Greedy Wetherspoons put profit before common sense.

Nothing could ever replace the motorway cafe. Where else could we get overpriced, sub-standard food and drink served on plastic plates with plastic cutlery on plastic tables with plastic chairs to the sound of screaming kids and arguing adults.

Preserve the British way of life - KEEP the Motorway Cafe

JD Wetherspoon sell both food and drink, a typical Wetherspoon's pub sells nearly 1,000 cups of tea and coffee a week

No because the lure of a pub is enough to make people drink alcohol to break
