I will be shocked if the verdict is less than 1st degree. With all the evidence against her (her actions leading up to and after the crime) I can't imagine the jury settling on 2nd degree, let alone a hung jury. I think their biggest dilemma will be deciding on her sentence; life in prison without parole versus the death penalty.
If the jury comes out in less than 3 days of deliberations the verdict will be guilty of first degree murder and they will want the death penalty. I don't believe she has any chance of a guilty finding on second degree murder. If the jury debates longer than three days the result will be a hung jury and
another circus trial, hopefully without a grandstanding prosecutor and a judge with stage fright!
You would think that it would be obvious that she planned it. All the evidence, even though it's circumstantial, fits pre-meditation perfectly. But it only takes one idiot juror to believe her lying *** stories to not get 1st degree. And if that happens, I know it's because a woman actually thought that the victim was a depraved sexual deviant. Even though Jodi arias admitted that she liked everything they did, and did it willingly. So, I am hoping she does get 1st degree but I will not be surprised if they give her second. If they do give her 1st, I don't think they'll give her capital, after all she is a woman, and she obviously has mental issues. So I guess we will see...
I pretty much go along with everyone else here. I do know it was cruel and unusual punishment she inflicted on Travis. To stab anyone 17 times THEN go over to him as he crawls away to escape her and she slits his throat from ear to ear THEN use a gun on him and shoot him in the head!! I think this needs to be pounded home by Juan and she needs to have the death penalty. How can anyone say she was defending herself from him? That's impossible.
what you think the verdict will i think if there is a verdict tomar it will be 1st degree. and if its one tuesday i think 2nd degree or hung jury
