I wonder how some of the plane crash footage was video taped as well. For example, I never understood how this was filmed:
What was luck was the first plane. the only shot of that one is from a French camera crew that were filming some firefighters, and happened to be in position to see the first plane hit. The plane's noise was enough to make him pan over, since you don't hear loud engine noises in lower Manhattanen.
There is no luck involved at all with the second. The first tower on fire was big news, and all the major networks, local tv stations, and hundreds of photographers, people with camera phones or other recording devices were busy watching the first fire. There were even helicopters in the air filming. So it was not strange at all that the second plane was caught at multiple angles going into the WTC.
There are plenty of eyewitnesses talking about how it was weird to see a plane flying so low. In a city of 8 million people, it is not surprising that somoene was alrady filming something and said, "what's that plane doing so low" and started filiming it.
But we don't have a good film of the first plane hitting. The best video we have shows someone videoing firefighters in the street, then you hear a big boom, and the camera quickly swivels toward the crash, catching the aftermath but not the initial impact. See my source.
Of course, after the first plane hit, plenty of people started filming it, which is why we have good film of the second plane impacting.
In a city of millions, all sorts of people are taking pictures and shooting video at all hours.
There's nothing odd about anybody with a camera in their hands taking pictures of a commercial airliner where no plane should be: at rooftop height over downtown Manhattan.
Case in point: the French documentary film crew filming a story about the New York Fire Service that caught Flight 11 hitting the first tower.

There was a live outside broadcast taking place, they heard the noise and the cameraman caught it, the cop was there to keep the traffic flowing around the crew.
By the time the second plane hit, there were more camera crews than police in the area.
The famous first plane shot was by a guy shooting a documentary about the New York Fire Dept. The second plane shot was by a professional named Evan Fairbanks and he described the crash of "FLT175" as just like movie special effects, not real.
If you examine closely the video of the south tower hit, you will see that there can be no doubt but that its just like movie special effects, totally bogus.
WE THE PEOPLE have been lied to!
Id say tourists and passerbys were intrigued/worried as the planes were flying really low over the city and much lower than usual as its out of the usual air traffic controlled area. Thus someone would have realized something was wrong so started recording. Hence they were able to capture the moment of impact
I was in the UK and just had the BBC on and they said they were going over to New York they switched over just in time to see the second plane hit the building. You could see the first plane wedged in the building with bodies and luggage dropping from it.. I never stopped to think where the camera was ?
You know, I've wondered the same thing for years, but no one has ever taken me seriously about it... and besides. It's not like in that day and age, we had these camera phones with a recording function. I mean, think back to 10 years ago. How many people did you see walking around with a camcorder in a busy street happily recording buildings on an average day?
consider the sheer # of people that would be near the towers just before 9am on a weekday. one of the busiest places in the country if not the world. the sight of a very low flying plane would attract attention. thats not 'luck' thats just sheer volume of people. someone would catch it on a cell phone.
and after the 1st one there would naturally be tons of cameras rolling when the 2nd one came
not trolling or trying to start contraversy... but always wondered, how exactly did they get the planes impact caught on camera? i mean... were these tourists cameras that just "got lucky" or were they security cameras or what? its just weird, you always see the cop standing in the middle of the street and then the camera pans to the first crash and the second you basically see the plane flying right into it... the timing seems so "lucky" or odd for just a tourist....
Many NY morning news shows were broadcasting live since it was a normal morning, when these shots were taken, I saw the second plane hit live on the today show.
They did not do that exactly, Randomly people, tourists, always video or photograph extreme buildings
everywhere, not just by 9-11
yes, they are quite curious..one plane impact caught on camera, the cameraman would have had to be laying on the ground shooting up to have caught it..who does that?
Being in the south, I never will trust the Northern government ,nor will I ever believe anything they say about anything...
