I don't know why they're making this fuss now...he can't defend himself. What's the point? The women making the accusations are in their 60s.... what have they been doing for the last 45 odd years??
Jimmy Savile was an ill, frail, 84 year old man, and a lifelong smoker to boot, who had been in the process of recovering from a serious infection. I don't think we need a conspiracy theory to explain his death.
I think you've put the cart before the horse here. Police couldn't pin anything on him when he was alive. Now that JS is dead, all of these allegations can be aired in public without the inconvenience of actually having to prove them in court.
I see that not a week after the ITV doc aired, the tabloid press are referring to him as "paedo Jimmy Savile" - not "alleged paedo Jimmy Savile", they are actually stating as an established fact that he is a sex offender. I guess the standard of proof for a dead nonce is a lot lower than for a living one.
Ironically if he had been arrested during his lifetime and the papers had run such coverage, it's highly likely the case would have been thrown out of court, as he would be deemed to have no chance of a fair trial. This actually happened with one of Gary Glitter's alleged victims - the case against him was dropped after it turned out his accuser had sold her story to a tabloid.
found dead at his home in Roundhay, Leeds, on 29 October 2011, two days short of his 85th birthday.
He had recently been in hospital with pneumonia, and his death was not treated as suspicious.
so that puts an end to that theory
Pneumonia killed him.
In news stories it shows that his flat was riddled with mould despite him being a multi-millionaire.
He was infamously mean with his money so it might be fair to say that it was these miserly ways which killed him off.
He was 84. People do die at that age.

Makes me wonder if he knew these allegations were about to be made public, and so did the right thing...
Could you imagine if he was alive and been paraded in hand cuffs and in a prison van to and from court..?
The media would have had a field day...
