Find out whether you are going toward or away from the blast. If you are going towards it, turn around, get gas and drive fast for at least 200 miles.
Depending on the strength of the bomb, you might have already been dead for several minutes.
Even if it was a small nuclear bomb, you would have already seen the flash, hopefully it didn't permanently blind you, and the mushroom cloud.
Assuming you aren't dead, on fire, or blind, your next task is go get out of the projected path of the fallout. Hopefully the radio announcer has enough state of mind to give information on the prevailing winds so people can make their way away from the city and still stay downwind.
