I agree he didn't act drunk to me either. I thought his actions today were so stupid then of all things goes out on the ledge and began throwing money like it was water. He is so confused now that his so called love married his father. Heck he didn't care for her at first till Neil took interest in her. He wasn't too quick on the draw just dragging his feet. Good enough he needs to suffer.

He was shown drinking earlier in the day (that was 2 episodes ago) at the Athelitic Club with Cane. He showed up at Jabot and Hilary noticed he was drunk and called him out on it in the elevator, and Neil later on could smell booze on his breath. After that Devon went to the rooftop lounge and he had a bottle of whiskey with him and he was downing shots while sitting on the lawn chair.
I thought Bryton did a good job of being drunk- People act differently then others while drunk. Devon was defintely staggering a bit, and he was slurring his words as well.... he defiently wasn't a "funny" drunk, he was a raging one, u could see the anger and frustration coming out in his words.

Maybe Devon is the one who jumps or falls off the ledge, and gives us a new storyline. Who knew? Maybe tomorrow, they will hang it up over the weekend, right? For sure something will hang up over the weekend. Neil will see the light of day when he sees Devon crash to earth over Hilary!
If he wasn't drunk, he was close to it. I saw that no one offered to drive him home, or where ever he was going, considering the condition Devon was in.
